Brazil’s Economic Resurgence

After a seven-year hiatus, Brazil is poised to reclaim its status as the world’s eighth-largest economy in 2024, according to the latest data from IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics). The Q1 2024 figures, which show a robust 0.8% growth, have prompted São Paulo-based Austin Ratings to project that Brazil’s GDP will reach US$2.331 trillion, surpassing Italy and marking a significant milestone.
